Loading a unit for the wind power gearbox test rig
On 08.04.2008, a supply unit for a wind power gearbox
test rig with a testing output of
17 MW for a Belgian customer was loaded as a
heavy goods transport. In the night of 09.04.2008, the
transport started out from Hessisch Lichtenau to
Kassel. From there it will take the A7 and A49 motorways, along
selected heavy goods routes, on to Hanau, from where
further transport by ship to Belgium is
planned. The transport from Hessisch Lichtenau to the port of
loading to Hanau is planned to take three days.
